Behind Nona Perkasa lies one woman: Ayu Peeters. As a half Belgian and half Indonesian born in Jakarta, she found her ultimate freedom in pole dancing. This was what inspired and fueled her with confidence to create pole wear - the freedom of expression, strength, energy and movement. That’s the feeling she dreams for all women around the world.

Already based in Indonesia, Ayu realized that there were many sources in Bali for starting a clothes company. While quality was naturally in her mind, she cared about sustainability too - and when she connected all the business pieces, it was like a marriage made in heaven: her entrepreneurial passion, her adventurous spirit, and all things pole-dancing.
